- Lead and Manage the Sourced Products Team with five direct reports.
- Responsible for assuring strategy development, execution of procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
- Lead the development and negotiation of contracts through the contract lifecycle maximizing value while minimizing risk to Trane Technologies.
- Partner with Innovation and Business Development teams to research new technologies and drive quarterly engineering roadmap reviews with preferred contract manufacturers to enhance existing product offerings and supplier resiliency solutions.
- Manage supply chain development activities, including leading, or participating in supplier selection, capability assessment, quality improvement, and supplier readiness.
- Act as the supply chain subject matter expert between the Sourced Products supply base and the PGT stakeholders.
- Develop & implement multi-year category strategies with goals to increase spend with preferred manufacturers to help drive revenue growth in the Sourced Products space.
- Develop relationships and communication strategies with internal partners to identify business needs and align supply base to achieve strategic direction.
- Provide leadership and oversight of the sourcing process to ensure spend is awarded to provide the maximum value to Trane Technologies.
- Identify and Manage risk mitigation strategies in support of category strategies and business priorities.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Commodity Management.
- Sourcing experience in the development and management of a global supply base is required.
- Demonstrated success includes supplier development across regions, responsibility for high-level negotiations, leading/participating on multi-functional projects, and team development.
- Experience developing and implementing strategies across an enterprise.
- Strong project management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel requirements will be 25% of time (Domestic and International)

- Global Business Thinking/Strategizing - Demonstrates deep global knowledge of manufacturers, industry trends, emerging markets and technology, builds this knowledge into strategies/playbooks, develops teams capabilities & talent.
- Problem Solving - Understands customer expectations; keeps abreast of competitor/related industry problems; feeds learning into TT to anticipate and avoid potential problems; oversees team problem solving and corrective action plan implementation.
- Relationship Management Creates collaborative environment with cross-functional senior peers, assures regular/appropriate two-way communication flow, builds/maintains relationship with industry peers and suppliers leaders, and reinforces lead on on TT voice to the supply base.

Summary:
The position of Sr. Category Manager Sourced Products, Americas will develop multi-region spend management strategies. Understand and monitor current market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges. Guide the selection, development, and management of our Sourced Products supply partners to meet cost and performance targets. Performs analyses on inventory programs, product lifecycle management, supplier resiliency, diversity, continuous improvement, and ISC/engineering collaboration. Lead negotiation and completion of contracts to maximize benefits across the Trane Technologies enterprise.
