Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Parts Delivery Driver to join our Archbold team The position combines the responsibilities of a Parts Delivery Driver with Inside Parts Sales.

You will be responsible for delivering parts and equipment to our valued customers and assisting when needed with customer retail parts whether by phone or in person on location at the branch.

Driver Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors while maintaining a professional appearance of the company
• Followup with customers to see if additional parts or services are needed
• Coordinate last minute pickups or deliveries with parts counter representatives or the shipping and receiving department
• Verify invoice matches purchase order for each pickup
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups
• Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of every shift
• Responsible for basic maintenance of appointed company delivery van including gas fillups, monitor fluid levels, keeping clean internally, and advise management of needed maintenance and major repairs
• Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to customers, technicians, and wholesale accounts
• Additional duties and tasks as assigned

Inside Parts Sales Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in selecting required heavyduty truck parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
• Informing customers of companion part requirements, sale specials, and ensuring that the customer is exposed to full product line
• Providing price quotes and relevant part sales or invoicing details
• Providing highlevel customer service, including to coworkers
• Pulling and filling orders from stock
• Locating outofstock parts from outside sources and submitting emergency orders, if necessary
• Followingup on backordered parts
• Assisting Outside Sales Representatives with their order needs
• Receiving payment from customers or obtaining credit authorization
• Ensuring that charge sales are signed by the customer
• Ensuring that customers receive an invoice copy
• Issuing credit for returned parts
• Assisting with core returns and warehouse backstock needs
• Keeping organized records of all sales, credit, and refund invoices
• Keeping front counter areas clean and organized
• Participating in available training programs
• Keeping current on new and existing truck parts product knowledge
• Maintaining professional appearance
• Additional duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Related experience and/or training
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Good time management with demonstrated ability to efficiently multitask in a fastpaced work environment
• Team oriented
• Valid driver's license and the able to meet insurability requirements
• Forklift certification preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 70lbs
• Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods
• Must be able to bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch on a constant basis
