Training as an Electronics Technician for Building and Infrastructure Systems (m/f/d)

What does this job involve?

Electronics technicians for building and infrastructure systems are responsible for ensuring that ventilation, heating, electricity, and security systems in residential and industrial buildings, schools, hospitals, and other facilities function smoothly. They inspect and maintain the facilities, diagnose errors, and assess hazards. They also repair technical equipment themselves or arrange for repairs. Additionally, they monitor compliance with safety regulations.
Electronics technicians for building and infrastructure systems determine the appropriate systems and technical equipment for new and renovated buildings, advise clients, calculate costs, award contracts, and inspect the work of third parties. They integrate and configure building technology systems using bus systems. Finally, they hand over the systems and instruct users on how to operate them.
