- Faculty provide a full range of state-of-the-art obstetrical anesthesia services, including exposure to all varieties of high-risk obstetric patients, as well as ample clinical exposure to normal pregnancies
- Approximately 85% of our patients receive regional analgesia for labor and delivery
- Faculty are involved with clinical care, bedside and didactic teaching of residents, consultation, and collaboration with obstetricians regarding our high-risk patients, as well as a clinical research program with opportunities to complete several research projects and present findings at national meetings
- There is an ACGME fellowship program and an opportunity to work with residents
- We offer the opportunity for collaborative research efforts with our obstetrical and neonatology departments
- Faculty are also involved in the intraoperative care of Gynecology and Gynecology-Oncology patients
