The System Technology department, as part of the Metering department in the role of the basic metering operator, works closely with service providers and manufacturers to provide innovative and precise measurement technology.

This includes the development and improvement of IT and ICT infrastructure, as well as relevant functional tests of individual technical components of the intelligent metering system, such as electricity meters and communication devices.
