Coordinate all phase of construction in a timely manner that is consistent with and meets the customer's expectations and company'sAttend pre-construction and operation meetings in order to ensure proper scheduling and timing of jobs and tasks for internal and external resourcesInstruct Company personnel and outside contractors in the safe and economical completion of assignments and ensure that all facets of the project are performed in accordance with all applicable standards, procedures, codes, and regulationsEnsure that all purchases, receipts and issues are properly processed and documentedInitiates and documents necessary information to establish electronic and hard copy project folders that include estimates, bids, descriptions, expenditures, and as-builtsMaintain assigned vehicle, tools, and equipmentCoordinates with the internal Inspectors to ensure that all projects are appropriately monitoredAssists with lay-out, planning, and communication of project assignments with contractors, engineering, and operations personnelMonitor Contractor activity and ensure completed tasks meet or exceed requirementsProper documentation of field adjustmentsReview all project's as-built drawings and material lists, service records, valve cards, and line markers for accuracy and completeness, forwarding submitted information to Engineering for addition to Company's system mapsReconciles projects to ensure adherence to budget and correct any errors with regards to charges and materials while noting necessary project changesReports on all projects under design and construction to management as requestedWho you are:Knowledgeable of Company safety rules, regulations and proceduresKnowledgeable in safe operations of tools and equipment, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and OSHA regulationsKnowledgeable of company mapping practices and proceduresHigh level of concise and clear communications necessary to establish strong business relationships with customers and outside contractorsBasic principals of natural gas and propane gasValid Drivers License with a responsible driving recordMechanical aptitudeConscientious work ethicBasic computer skills and Microsoft Office ApplicationsWhere you'll be working:Primarily outside in construction type settings and office work environmentFrequent daily travelWorking around potentially flammable and hazardous substances in natural gas and propaneDuties require lifting and the use of various hand and power tools (ability to lift pounds)Read the full posting.
