_ Job Summary_

  • The Director of Operations is responsible for establishing and maintaining a high quality of service for our customers. They do this by ensuring technicians have the tools and training necessary to support our customer's needs._

_ Key Job Responsibilities:

_

- _Teach/Coach Technicians on efficiency, quality workmanship and customer service._
- _Build and maintain strong relationships with customers._
- _Hire, lead and retain service technician staff including but not limited to, training, performance evaluation, coach, develop, provide feedback for improvement and praise._
- _Training, Monitoring and implementation of process changes with technicians to ensure full compliance with company expectations._
- _Ensure expectations are clearly defined and communicated with Technicians to ensure work standards are being met._
- _Ensure expectations are clearly defined and communicated with Technicians to ensure work environments are well maintained and safe._
- _Assist in inventory management as needed._
- _Travel frequently to job sites and/or branches within assigned service area(s) to assist with projects as needed_
- _Perform other duties as requested by supervisor._
- _Be a leader of the company's Core values. Model the core values through their own behavior._
- _Encourages trust, teamwork and collaboration between cross-functional departments._
- _Manage to departmental Expectations, KPI's and goals. Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments for improvement as needed._
- _Conducts technician performance evaluations that are timely and constructive._


_ Key Performance Indicators:

_

- _Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Included, but not limited to the following:

Warranty, Safety, Environmental, OSHA, DOT and Hazmat._

  • Take ownership of all company assets.
Including, but not limited to the following:

Vehicles, Inventory, Tools, Furniture, and Equipment._
- _Complete (or follow up as necessary) all Service Orders, PM Worksheets, Timecards, Expense Reports and any documents required in an accurate and timely manner._
- _A score card that reflects team performance in areas such as Technician efficiency, Technician Utilization, Inventory Count Completion and variance, Control of Work In Process, service order proficiency, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution._
- _A score card that reflects service processing and profitability that meets or exceeds company standards._
- _Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information._
- _Other key metrics prescribed by Concentric Motive Power leadership, resulting in positive customer and Company impact._


Requirements:


  • High School or GED Diploma required. Prefer an Associate Degree from an approved twoyear college or university or very strong equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.
  • Ability to adapt to a fastchanging environment.
  • Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
  • Capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently with a sense of urgency.
  • Must have minimum 2years of experience as a Motive Power Technician
