Job Duties
  • Assist the manager and supervise staff in direct service delivery at a DMV Customer Service Center.
  • Coordinate and supervise DMV programs and services, ensuring they are customer service-focused.
  • Assume responsibilities of the CSC Manager in their absence.
  • Ensure all programs and services comply with statutory and administrative requirements.

DMV is based in Richmond, Virginia, serving millions of licensed drivers and ID card holders alongside various businesses and organizations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Organizational management principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of administrative principles and practices related to various functions.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make operational recommendations.
  • Ability to accurately manage revenues, expenditures, and assets.
  • Supervisory experience and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 10-25 lbs and perform tasks at various workstations.
  • Experience in a customer service environment with focus on regulations and procedures.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including Saturdays.
Additional Considerations
  • Customer service management experience.
  • Experience in hiring, training, and supervising staff.
