    About the Role:

    We're scouting for a mechanical engineer with a fearless startup mindset — those ready to ditch the manual, think on their feet, and innovate relentlessly. The Robotics Mechanical Engineer is responsible for new development design from conceptual to detailed design and evaluation with attention to strength, thermal restriction, controllability, efficiency of assembly, and maintenance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design robotics hardware to achieve high performance robot
    • Incorporate with both electrical and software requirements development to achieve optimal robot assembly configurations
    • Assemble and maintenance hardware
    • Design and execute testing (operational verification testing, reliability/quality evaluation)
    • Perform field testing (space environmental testing, thermal/vibration evaluation)

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of professional industry experience in the design, analysis and manufacturing of electro-mechanical systems
    • Experience of mechanical CAD
    • Experience of mechanical drawing
    • Hands-on skills with mechanical assembly, testing, etc.
    • Experience in thermal design
    • Experience in R&D to the production stage
    • Experience in vibration tests
    • Experience in performing failure analysis for design hardware.
    • Understanding of aerospace metals including stainless steel, aluminum alloys, and titanium alloys.
    • Ability to work on weekends as necessary, depending on the work schedule, underscoring the importance of flexibility and adaptability in our team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in designing space related hardware(satellites, rovers, etc.)
    • Experience in designing robots
