Description
Under the immediate direction of the General Manager, the Operations Supervisor, must possess excellent skills in team building, customer services, communication skills, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
The Operations Supervisor will work in conjunction with daily operations to ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Valid CA driver's license, current EMT certification, current CPR, valid CA Ambulance Driver Cert, and current Medical Examiners certificate.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and preemployment screening, which includes medical examination, drug, and alcohol screening.
- Must be available to work all shifts, including but not limited to day/swing/night, weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime as needed and able to perform role efficiently and consistently during the shift.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong work ethic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operations and field employees.
- Conducts evaluations on field employees performance.
- Conducts orientation and training for new employees.
- Keeps up to date with local, state, and federal EMS guidelines and policies.
- Improves field employees efficiency, professionalism, productivity, and quality of operations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly headquarters and substations.
- Monitor station and vehicle's supplies inventory.
- Is a professional role model to field employees and customers.
- Ensures safety/injury/exposure protocols are followed.
- May participate in selection of new hires.
- Perform transports when staffing is inadequate.
- Assist in Dispatcher/Call Center when needed.
- Provides resolutions to problems under the guidance of General Manager.
- Performs other related duties assigned by General Manager.
Experience:
- Two year of Supervisor experience.
- Strong management skills to handle highpressure situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely communicate personnel.
- Leadership rules.
Pay:
$67,000.00 per year
