As an educator at Kirkwood, you will support children and adolescents in becoming strong individuals. You will take your kindergarten group to the forest playground to promote physical agility and coordination. You will also play memory games with them to train their concentration skills.

When you start a song together, you create a great atmosphere and expand the children's vocabulary at the same time.

It is important to learn how to handle emotions, and you will praise, comfort, or mediate a dispute over a sandbox shovel.

You will also give tips to teenagers on how to solve school or personal problems with parents or friends.

As an educator, you are one of the most important role models for children and adolescents. You will shape their personalities and support their personal development according to their age.

To do this, you will create individual development plans in collaboration with parents and team colleagues, and implement them independently through pedagogical measures.

You will apply your knowledge directly in practice from the beginning.

Under supervision, you will care for children and adolescents in kindergartens, after-school programs, or youth homes - for several weeks during the first two years of training and as a several-month internship in the third year.
