Facilities Engineer - Full-time Position

Company:
PrideStaff is currently looking for a skilled Facilities Engineer to join their team. As a leading staffing agency, PrideStaff focuses on connecting talented individuals with various industries throughout the country.

Job Description:

Supervise facility maintenance while ensuring safety compliance
Manage building repairs and renovations
Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs
Address and lead troubleshooting efforts for issues
Keep management updated on facility needs and costs
Handle ongoing maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and other systems
Inspect building systems to ensure proper operation
Estimate repair time and materials when needed
Participate in emergency response and safety committee activities

Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in building engineering
Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Knowledge of OSHA Standards and safety practices
Project management and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and organization abilities
Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems

Required Certificates:
F01 Fire Guard for Impairment (Citywide)
A-35 Operate and Maintain Air Compressors
F-03 Indoor Place of Assembly Safety Personnel
F-78 Cleaning and Testing of Smoke Detectors
P-98 Fuel Oil Piping and Storage
S-12 Citywide Sprinkler System
S-13 Citywide Standpipe System
S-15 Foam-Water Sprinkler System
