Pick or Putaway boxes from cages into racks (VNA)

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Regularly inspect assigned equipment. Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and standards.
  • Unload inbound shipments securely and transfer products to designated storage locations. Stack and store products efficiently in the appropriate areas.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accurate quantities and types of products are loaded and shipped.
  • Efficiently transfer products from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of inbound and outbound shipments, reporting any variances promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records to uphold tight inventory control and security. Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Follow customer requirements to ensure precise loading, stability, and safe unloading of products.
  • Coordinate with other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance as needed.
  • Practice good housekeeping and implement 'clean as you go' processes.
  • Operate equipment safely, report any unsafe conditions, and promote a culture of safety.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and report any noncompliance.
  • Observe all safety rules and participate in enforcement if required.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Schedule:

  • Friday-Sunday
  • 7am-7:30pm

Salary:

  • $22.00 per hour
  • $1.50 Shift Differential for hours worked

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; three or more years of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Successful completion of post-hire assessments.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as per safety policies.
