Description
Pick or Putaway boxes from cages into racks (VNA)
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Regularly inspect assigned equipment. Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and standards.
- Unload inbound shipments securely and transfer products to designated storage locations. Stack and store products efficiently in the appropriate areas.
- Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accurate quantities and types of products are loaded and shipped.
- Efficiently transfer products from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of inbound and outbound shipments, reporting any variances promptly.
- Maintain detailed records to uphold tight inventory control and security. Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Follow customer requirements to ensure precise loading, stability, and safe unloading of products.
- Coordinate with other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance as needed.
- Practice good housekeeping and implement 'clean as you go' processes.
- Operate equipment safely, report any unsafe conditions, and promote a culture of safety.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and report any noncompliance.
- Observe all safety rules and participate in enforcement if required.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Schedule:
- Friday-Sunday
- 7am-7:30pm
Salary:
- $22.00 per hour
- $1.50 Shift Differential for hours worked

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; three or more years of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- Successful completion of post-hire assessments.
- Obtain and maintain necessary equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as per safety policies.
