Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate earthmoving crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Interpret project plans and blueprints, and effectively communicate tasks to crew members.
- Operate heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, as needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project goals are met.
- Train and mentor crew members on proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, project expenses, and crew hours.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in earthmoving and construction.
- Proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Additional Information:
- Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
- Position will involve working on both private and prevailing wage projects.
