Earthmoving Foreman - Irvine, United States - AMPCO

Description

• Supervise and coordinate earthmoving crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Interpret project plans and blueprints, and effectively communicate tasks to crew members.
• Operate heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, as needed.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project goals are met.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, project expenses, and crew hours.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in earthmoving and construction.
• Proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in a similar role.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
• Position will involve working on both private and prevailing wage projects.
