Description
Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including - lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors. - Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms. - Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris. - Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures.towel bars, towel dispensers. - Empty trash cans and replace liners. - Sweep and mop floors.
- Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents.
- Use supplies and equipment in a safe manner by following the user manual instructions.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean and orderly manner.
- Notify the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing immediately regarding resident safety issues or concerns.
- Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies are needing replenished.
- Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.
- Excellent timemanagement skills.
- Ability to work independently or with a team. Supervisory Requirements This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Qualification Education and/or Experience Minimum requirement to perform the essential functions of this position is a High School Diploma or a GED.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
