- Support post sales technical issues and resolve quality issues related to components or manufacturing
- Troubleshoot field related technical issues and implement factory tests
- Test and evaluate lighting fixtures and various critical electrical/mechanical components
- Prototype and build Proof-of-Concepts
- Write executive summaries to communicate issues and resolutions to management
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical degree
- Understands electrical basics of control theory, AC/DC, and RF
- Demonstrates basic mechanical design approaches and capabilities
- Basic knowledge of various material and their structural and thermal properties
- Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer onsite in Peachtree City, GA

Your opportunity
We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our Connected Lighting Products and Controls New Product Development Team onsite in Peachtree City, GA. You'll be responsible for supporting our growing products.

Pay Rate: $21 - $31 per hour (based on year of study and major)
