ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center currently seeks
Accounts Payable Analyst for an immediate full-time onsite opportunity.


Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and reconciling accounts payable transactions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.

Familiarity with multiple legal entity business structures and cost center coding is highly desired.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Review and reconcile accounts payable transactions, ensuring discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Conduct research and analysis to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies, involving collaboration with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and communicate effectively to resolve paymentrelated issues.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of accounts payable controls and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Provide support during financial audits by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from fouryear college or university, three to five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems. Infor Cloud Preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in

Microsoft Excel:
Vlookups and Pivot Tables.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience in healthcare is preferred, but not required.


Pay:
$60, $65,000.00 per year
