Our company designs, markets, and manufactures positioning equipment to a broad range of industries, including aerospace, photonics & research. We are experiencing a rapidly increase in our customer base and are growing in response to the demand. That growth has put us in need of an experienced Operations Manager. The Operations Manager leads, inspires, and motivates supervisors and employees to ensure operational excellence, high employee engagement, and a safe working environment is achieved.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, costeffective way
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Recruit, train, manage and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support
  • Organize, document and develop company processes
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Manage budgets and forecasts
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Excellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Outstanding organizational skills
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operational Management, related field of study or equivalent experience required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing management roles required.

Pay:
$55, $72,000.00 per year
