DineAmic Hospitality Accounts Payable Analysts are responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable processes for multiple restaurants. Invoices within their scope will range from food and restaurant-specific to corporate overhead expenses and employee reimbursements.

High-level responsibilities include but are not limited to the analysis, validation, and payment of invoices; cash account, credit card account, and general ledger account reconciliations; and general bookkeeping.

This person will have the opportunity to use multiple reporting systems which will allow them to provide essential information and critical feedback directly to both restaurant management and the corporate office.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate A/P related procedures and expectations with restaurant management teams, working across multiple restaurant entities simultaneously
  • Review and analyze invoices and employee reimbursements for reasonableness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies
  • Review open A/P and complete weekly free cash analysis to determine what should be paid on weekly check runs, ensuring all outstanding obligations are paid in a timely manner
  • Review vendor statements to locate any missing invoices or credits, and then work with restaurant management and vendor teams to obtain them
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of bank and credit card accounts, including posting activity to the general ledger and performing account reconciliations
  • Review monthly general ledger activity regarding payables and expenses, including balance sheet and profit & loss account analysis
  • Perform monthend closing activities including preparation of various journal entries, and periodend accruals and amortizations
  • Work with restaurant management in reviewing their COGS at the end of the month
  • Assist in the maintenance of all business licensing documents, ensuring assigned entities are current with required permits and licenses and assisting in their renewals
  • Review, analyze, and track Fixed Asset purchases on Fixed Assets schedules
  • Perform special projects as required to assist the Department and the Company in achieving its goals and objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • At least one year experience with full cycle Accounts Payable
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management preferred, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • Restaurant industry experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent computer skills and advanced proficiency with accounting and reporting systems and tools such as QuickBooks and MS Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a broad range of audiences
  • Strong organizational, problemsolving, and analytical skills
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a fastpaced, entrepreneurial environment with evolving processes
  • Attention to detail and a dedication to providing a highquality work product
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, follow through on issues promptly, and meet reasonable routine deadlines
  • Exercise professional skepticism regarding transactional data
  • Ability to be resourceful and independent in solving problems
  • Manage confidential information with a high degree of integrity
  • Restaurant365 (R365) ERP experience preferred but not required
