Operations Assistant - Washington, United States - Hill Havurah

Description

Hill Havurah, a growing independent non-profit Jewish congregation on Capitol Hill, is seeking an Operations Assistant to assist our Operations Coordinator at our services and other events and within 1-2 months to be able to successfully substitute for the Coordinator at smaller events.

Most of the events take place on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sunday afternoons and evenings.

Most take place at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation (where we rent space) at 212 East Capitol Street, NE.

You'll support setup, cleanup, and everything in between.

You will likely end up working 3-6 events / 9-24 hours per month (at least most months).

We are seeking a hard worker who is reliable and conscientious, with strong common sense and problem solving skills. Flexibility and patience are important for this job, as are a good nature and sense of humor.

$ $25.00 per hour
