Your tasks:


  • Establishing two children's choir groups (1st2nd grade and 3rd5th grade)
  • Preparation and participation in church services with the children's choirs (e.g. accompanying family/childcare services, summer festivals, opening of Christmas markets, etc.)
  • Preparation and performance of concerts and musicals, as well as an annual choir retreat
  • Preparation and participation in newer church services with a focus on popular music
  • Conceptualization for additional church services and event formats (night church, Easter cultural night, Reformation Day)
  • Establishing a popular music group/band
  • Maintaining contacts and networking
  • Public relations and fundraising

Your profile:


The profile of this position includes establishing a children's choir program and participating in the design and development of church services/event formats with a focus on popular music at both locations.

Joint events and services between the congregations will be an important aspect of the long-term cooperation between the main churches in the old town.

The work relies on close collaboration with the church musicians and pastors.

We are looking for a communicative, enthusiastic, and inclusive individual with experience in leading choirs and working with children and youth.
