    NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a Dallas-based materials and services provider to the Construction industry to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team This position is newly created and will assist the Controller with projects and monthly reporting.

    This position is onsite in their NE Dallas location and there is much room to grow here.

    Our client offers a competitive compensation package, a terrific culture, and future growth opportunities Ideal candidates will have:

    Bachelor's in accounting
    5+ years' experience in a full-cycle role
    Proficiency with US GAAP, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close
    Advanced Excel skills (will be tested)
    Experience with job costing and WIP accounting is highly preferred
    Experience with Sales Tax reporting is a huge plus
    Team player with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
