is currently seeking experienced **Cooks** to join our team The **Cook** is responsible for the preparation and serving of meals, sanitation of food service areas, accurate recordkeeping, receiving, rotating and inventory of products, and regulatory compliance.**Rate of Pay:** $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience. * High school diploma or GED preferred

Maintains a current ServSafe certificate or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become ServSafe certified

One year cooking experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting

Scratch cooking experience preferred

Prior experience working in a long-term care facility a plus

Must receive a not disqualified criminal background result from DHS and may not be on the OIG exclusions list

In accordance with CMS Vaccine Mandate, new employee must provide proof of Covid-19 vaccine or submit documentation for exemption

Ability to multi-task and work efficiently independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment

Must have good people skills, ability to work cooperatively with staff, families, residents, and administration for the benefit of the resident

Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Ability to work with residents and staff from diverse backgrounds
