    JOB PURPOSE


    The Manager of Revenue Management will supervise the RM analysts and work closely with the Corporate RM teams abroad and other Commercial teams in North America to accomplish the day-to-day tasks of pricing and promotions management and maximize revenue and occupancy.

    This is a hybrid position with 2 days in the office weekly. #LI-AR1

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


    Review booking trends for the USA and Canadian markets across various dimensions on a regular basis with the analysts and provide price change and inventory recommendations to Corporate Revenue Management.


    Track promotional timelines and ensure that all deliverables are completed within deadlines, and proactively communicate to the Director of RM and other stakeholders any roadblocks or potential delays.


    Provide guidance and review drafts of new reports, ad-hoc analyses, slide content, and promo notices for accuracy, structure, and logic before they are shared with the Director of RM or externally.

    Liaise with Corporate RM destination managers on a regular basis, communicating

    Coach a team of 3 Sr. Revenue Management analysts and help further develop their critical thinking/problem-solving, technical, and communication/presentation skills.


    Become an expert in the analytical tools and systems in order to assist the analysts and help train new team members.

    Attend budget and forecast meetings and assist with reviewing the analysts' booking models as needed.

    Attend cross-functional meetings as the Revenue Management representative as needed.

    Participate in weekly USA Business Review Meetings and establish a review meeting and additional reporting for Canada.

    QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

    Bachelor's Degree required; major in Business, Economics, Finance, or other analytics-intensive fields a plus. MBA a plus.

    2-5 years of people management experience, with analyst direct reports.

    Revenue Management experience in cruise, airline, or hotel highly preferred.

    Advanced analytical, synthesis, and strategy skills, as well as strong business and commercial judgement.


    Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel - has hands-on experience with complex models and large datasets and is able to roll up sleeves and dive into analysts' files in order to validate accuracy, guide model assumptions, and refine and optimize.

    Must know the data, logic, and outputs and be able to clearly explain to the Director of RM and leadership.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.

    It is crucial that the candidate have the ability to determine high-level insights to call out to upper management, as well as the ability to lay out detailed information to other audiences with technical clarity.

    Strong attention to detail, organization, and management skills, and impeccable reliability.

    Excellent relationship, collaboration, and team-building skills.

    Strong talent development and management skills and potential.

    Comfortable working in cross-functional, multi-national, cross-cultural teams.


    Comfortable with ambiguity and very adaptable, with demonstrated ability to work in a continuously changing environment, pivoting to respond to new conditions and objectives as the business evolves.
