We are a residential and educational community based on anthroposophy in Bliestorf (district of Herzogtum-Lauenburg / Schleswig-Holstein) near Lübeck.

As a children and youth welfare institution, we provide full-time care for 71 girls and boys aged 6-21 in eight residential groups and two youth residential groups. The young people mostly attend the special needs school at Haus Arild; the teenagers also participate in a vocational preparation program. A supportive therapeutic and experiential pedagogical program is an important part of our work. Haus Arild also operates a kindergarten and a organic village shop.

  • Supporting 6 to 9 children and teenagers in the residential group around the clock as part of a pedagogical team,
  • Promoting and supporting independent living skills in daily life,
  • Planning and organizing leisure activities and holiday trips,
  • Crisis prevention and intervention,
  • Collaborating with parents, authorities, doctors and other institutions,
