Scope of Work:

The Lead Enterprise Architect is a KEY personnel position that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual capable of overseeing the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture projects.

This role involves leading the strategic planning and execution of enterprise-wide IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force (AF) strategies, and providing technical leadership in the integration and synchronization of IT systems.

The Lead Enterprise Architect will work closely with government stakeholders to deliver solutions that support the ANG mission within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and maintenance of assigned enterprise architecture projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery as directed by the government (PWS
  • Document current processes and procedures, recommend and implement process improvements, and identify areas for improvement across the enterprise (PWS
  • Evaluate process models within functional areas to facilitate data model development and data integration, supporting the transition to an Open System Environment (OSE) (PWS
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and systems to enhance IT capabilities and service offerings, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security (PWS
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership in the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns, and IT practices (PWS
  • Assist in developing acquisition schedules, milestones, Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), and Evaluation Criteria (PWS
  • Lead the enterprise architecture team, providing technical and analytical guidance, and ensuring adherence to quality standards
