This is a full-time role for a Senior Audit Manager to expand our existing Assurance practice.
The Senior Audit Manager will be responsible for managing audit, review and compilation engagements, including planning, execution, and completion, both directly and as the head of a team.
They will review financial statements, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulations. Business development opportunities for this role are available and encouraged. This is a hybrid role with the expectation of balancing work between our Lakewood office and remote working.Qualifications
Strong knowledge of audit and attest standards, financial statements and accounting principles
Analytical skills to evaluate financial data and identify areas of risk or improvement
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and manage a team
Previous experience in conducting financial statement audits is required
Previous Yellow Book experience is a plus
CPA certification is required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting is required
Experience with agriculture and construction industry clients is a plus
