Description
Key Responsibilities:
- MUST HAVE HANDS ON EXPERIENCE as a supervisor/Superintendent.
- Manage / Supervise on-site construction activities, including but not limited to scheduling, coordination, and implementation of project plans.
- Quality Control in the Houston Production Shop.
- Modifying designs to facilitate Installation.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and construction crew to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee the installation of structural steel and other ironwork components, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and materials usage.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of supervising successful projects.
- Extensive experience in ironwork and installations, including familiarity with structural steel fabrication and erection.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team of construction professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
- A proactive and results-driven attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in construction management, Engineering or Related Experience.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training.
- Experience with construction management software and tools.
Pay:
$70, $84,496.34 per year
