Overview:
Purpose:
Provide support to crew lead, assisting in underground sewer repairs, replacements, trenchless sewer lining rehabilitation and hydro jetting in pursuit to develop into crew lead position.
Responsibilities:
- Loads/Unloads material and equipment for use each day.
- Takes inventory of material used.
- Supports sewer crew lead.
- Prepares work site, excavates using shovels, rakes, uses probe to locate sewer lines underground.
- Measures, cuts, prepares and joins sewer pipe.
- Uses closed caption tv and locating equipment.
- Operates power saws and grinders.
- Repairs, replaces, and installs sanitary sewer lines, water service lines, underground sump discharge lines.
- Uses water under pressure to clean roots, mud, rock, sludge and waste from sewer lines.
- Performs related work as required.
Requirements:
- Highschool graduate (or GED).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in underground or trenchless sewer lining crew.
- Ability to work independently following directions of supervisor.
- Ability to learn the operation of power equipment.
- Ability to exercise safety protocol and practices to ensure safety for self and others.
- Ability to work under adverse conditions, inclement weather and cope with an irregular work schedule.
Physical Requirements:
Physical activities include climbing, balancing, stooping, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching, fingering, grasping, kneeling, digging, and repetitive motions. Also includes the necessity to communicate by talking, hearing/listening.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus, for operation of machines and equipment, determination accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observation of general surroundings.

- What you will do:_
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures which will include toilet replacements, faucets replacements, water heater replacements, soldering, and common plumbing repairs.
- Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, water quality, and code compliance in residential.
- Handling customer queries, troubleshooting/resolving problems, responding to callouts and preparing cost estimates.
Qualifications:
- You must have these things:_
- 2+ years of experience as a Plumbing Installer or Repiper.
- A valid US Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Willing to submit to a preemployment drug test and background check
