Participate in proceedings before state and federal regulatory agencies

• Advise clients on complex energy regulatory issues, asset divestiture and acquisition, and other transactions
• Represent clients in matters involving utilities and before and electric system operators
• Assist clients in evaluating energy procurement options
• Engage in generation and transmission development and siting
• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on contracts, including power purchase agreements and asset purchase and sale agreements
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned
• J.D. with 3 years relevant experience at a law firm, in government, in a corporate setting, or in another comparable regulatory environment
• Admitted to practice in New York
• Excellent writing skills
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
