Augustusburg and Falkenlust Palaces in Brühl

we are looking to fill the full-time position of a

Administrative Assistant (f/m/d)

Project Support and Research

in the Department V "Science, Education, Public Relations and UNESCO Affairs"

(Salary Group 9b or 10 of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the Federal States)

starting as soon as possible. This is a project position with a fixed term until December 31, 2025.


The UNESCO World Heritage Site Augustusburg and Falkenlust Palaces in Brühl is an institution within the Ministry of Home Affairs, Municipal Affairs, Construction and Digitalization of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The property includes two listed palaces with outbuildings and a 100-hectare garden.


Together with their gardens and parklands, Augustusburg and Falkenlust Palaces have been part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 1984.

This recognition comes with the responsibility to preserve and protect the site for future generations, as well as to open it up and share its contents with a diverse audience.


On July 8, 2025, the foundation stone for Augustusburg Palace, the summer residence of the Archbishop-Elector of Cologne Clemens August of Bavaria, will celebrate its 300th anniversary.
