QMS Quality Control Specialist NSWCPD Code 00Q Philadelphia, PAResponsibilities: Position is for the Quality Control Specialist, NSWCPD Code 00Q support, to be part of team supporting Quality Assurance and Technical Administration Support services.
This support will include supporting:
Quality Management System Program, Systems Engineering Process (SEP) Quality Assurance Program, Shipboard Work Quality Assurance Program, Command Level I Material Program, SUBSAFE Program Office, Special Programs/Test Site Quality Assurance, and Naval Foundry Propeller Center (NFPC).
The primary support will be to the NSWCPD Quality Management Office C/00Q Quality Management System (QMS).The QMS is focused on consistently meeting customer requirements and enhancing customer satisfaction, ensuring that functional areas are compliant with Navy standards and the NSWCPD QMS.
The QMS Division ensures that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines.
NSWCPD C/00Q is responsible for providing quality planning, quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement, and the oversight of functional areas to ensure continuous process improvements are implemented.
The QMS team facilitates and participates in Critiques and trouble reports, conducts audits, surveillances and self-assessments, inputs, tracks and evaluates command quality commitments, maintains Quality Management System (QMS) and website repositories.
The Quality Control Specialist will be part of the support team to ensure, enact, and validate project execution in accordance with Department of Navy requirements and within time constraints.
The Quality Control Specialist will assist with the development, revision changes, and implementation of QMS related processes and procedures in accordance with commands QMS for Governmental approval.

Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with a Secret Security Clearance Associate's Degree in any major field of study from an accredited institution.
Four (4) years total of relevant QA work experience.The contractor shall also be expected to possess the following skills and perform the following duties:
