Training Focus:

As a Processing Mechanic in the field of Sand and Gravel, you operate automated processing plants to extract marketable and reusable products from raw materials, for example in gravel pits and recycling plants. By screening and washing the material and removing foreign material, marketable products are created from gravel and sand mixtures. You are also responsible for the proper storage and loading of the products for further transport. To ensure product quality, you take samples and analyze and document them. You also identify malfunctions in the plants and take care of their repair. You will gain the necessary know-how through both theoretical and practical training, such as in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical engineering.
