As our Patient Service Representative you will be the primary point of contact for our patients, providing them with excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.

You will be responsible for answering any questions our patients may have, scheduling appointments, and providing them with information about our services.

You will also be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments, and ensuring that the patient receives the best experience possible.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Greet and check in patients, verify demographic information, and obtain insurance information
  • Answer patient inquiries in person and via telephone
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments and following up on referrals
  • Process payments and collect copays
  • Manage patient accounts, including updating medical records
  • Respond to insurance inquiries and manage authorizations
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Assist with resolving billing discrepancies
  • Assist with patient checkouts and scheduling followup appointments
  • Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction with services
  • Participate in professional development activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent, required


  • One year or more of experience in the medical field, preferably in customer service
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail, required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekend, required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish, required
