What to expect as a DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) in Somerset


As a DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) in our creative agency for online communication, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and system administration. Your main task will be to implement a high level of automation to ensure that we remain competitive in delivering digital and web-based solutions for renowned national and international clients. You will bring your knowledge and ideas to exciting projects ranging from websites to complex backend systems. Become part of a creative team that you won't want to miss out on.

Your responsibilities

  • Automated deployment and administration of server and container infrastructures (cloud and on-premise)
  • Development, testing, and optimization of our CI/CD pipeline, taking into account the necessary requirements for each deployment level
  • Identification of suitable automation potentials and planning and implementation with an adequate toolset
  • Participation in exciting new projects and optimization of existing projects for renowned national and international clients

Your profile

  • Successful completion of a degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge
  • Solid practical knowledge in working with Linux-based operating systems (Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine Linux, etc.)
  • Basic programming skills and a confident handling of shell scripting and PHP
