    About the Role:

    This position requires the individual to have a permanent remote office based within a 4-hour drive or 2-hour flight to the Atlanta HQ, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

    The Product Owner is instrumental in bridging the gap between the business and data team, ensuring that data needs for both operational and reporting purposes are met efficiently. This role manages the data platform's request backlog, collaborates on the formulation of the data roadmap, and oversees all associated user stories and tasks within JIRA. Additionally, they play a pivotal role in leading scrum activities, communicating critical timelines, and ensuring that all integrations are aligned with the overarching goals of multiple lifestyle apparel brands.
  • Regularly engage with business stakeholders to gather, understand, and prioritize data needs for both operational and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with both the business and data teams to continually refine the data roadmap based on evolving needs and insights.
  • Oversee and manage user stories, tasks, and other pertinent information within JIRA, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
  • Handle the data platform's request backlog, determining the priority of each request and ensuring timely responses to stakeholders.
  • Effectively convey timelines, updates, and potential challenges to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and setting appropriate expectations.
  • Lead and participate in key scrum activities including sprint reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions.
  • Track, analyze, and report on sprint metrics to provide insights on team performance and product development progress.

    • Who we would like to meet:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required.
  • 4+ years' experience in product ownership or product management, particularly within data-focused teams.
  • Working knowledge of product management tools and methodologies
  • Experience collaborating closely with both business and technical teams to define data requirements and roadmaps.
  • Experience with JIRA for backlog management and user story creation
  • Experience leading and participating in Scrum activities
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices and a proven ability to effectively apply the practices to their work
