Description

The teams for continuous improvement at TE Connectivity design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes that align with business strategies. They coach teams, set performance metrics for programs, and support process optimization.

Responsibilities:

Develop concepts to increase digitization (e.g. digital shop floor management, integration of production systems into the digital environment) and implement system extensions and upgrades
Optimize/configure and test applications and IT systems (e.g. MES, data preparation/analysis, and reporting)
Detailed familiarization with existing systems and processes
Independently manage projects in the digital factory area, including documenting completed projects
Act as a liaison between different departments (e.g. global IS team, production/shop floor, process engineering, management)
Solve problems in daily operations
Document system landscapes and data flows in operations, including creating training materials
Conduct key user and user trainings
Continuously improve and upgrade digital tools to create value for the company
Maintain a strong presence in the workshop/production environment
Apply TEOA (TE Operating Advantage) tools and methodology
