- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on commercial or industrial projects
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects, personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
- Extensive expertise in creating detailed fixed price estimates using tools like RS Means or similar resources
- Thorough knowledge of construction practices and techniques
- Effective negotiation skills
- Excellent adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Project Management: Planning, coordinating, and overseeing all project aspects to ensure timely and quality delivery, compliance with contract terms, and adherence to established procedures; managing project development, including scope, proposals, agreements, and close-out processes
- Estimating: Independently reviewing estimates based on technical specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, and ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinating subcontractor activities, reviewing proposals, and negotiating agreements to meet project requirements
- Scheduling: Establishing and maintaining project timelines, monitoring progress, and leveraging project management tools for efficient completion
- Business Development: Engaging with customers to address their needs, exploring growth opportunities, and contributing to proposal development
- Safety: Upholding health, safety, and environmental standards in alignment with company guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Travel between project sites and occasional office visits may be necessary
- Role involves physical demands such as walking varied terrains, lifting weights, and adjusting to weather conditions
- Must possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
