BETAH Associates seek a highly skilled and motivated
Project Manager to lead our team in managing a project team in support of a government client.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective and efficient management of program operations, delivering exceptional results, and maintaining strong relationships with government clients, project staff, and corporate leadership.

This position will be mostly remote but may require occasional travel to our Rockville office and the client site.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities **.

Responsibilities for Project Manager - Government Contract:

Project Planning and Initiation:

Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Define project goals and success criteria in alignment with client and organizational objectives.


Team Leadership and Coordination:

Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
Assign tasks and responsibilities, setting deadlines and monitoring progress.


Stakeholder Management:

Engage with clients, stakeholders, and government officials to ensure project alignment and support.
Facilitate regular meetings and updates to provide project status and address any concerns.


Budget and Resource Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Monitor expenditures and provide regular financial reports to senior management and clients.


Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and address risks and issues as they arise to minimize project disruptions.


Quality Assurance:

Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and contractual requirements.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of project execution.


Communication and Reporting:

Prepare and deliver regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
Maintain clear and organized documentation of all project activities, decisions, and outcomes.


Project Execution and Monitoring:

Oversee the execution of project tasks, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to execute project activities effectively.


Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

Ensure all project activities comply with federal regulations and contractual requirements.
Stay updated on relevant laws and best practices to ensure project adherence to regulatory requirements.


Performance Evaluation and Improvement:

Monitor and evaluate project performance, using data to inform continuous improvement.
Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify lessons learned for future initiatives.


Innovation and Best Practices:

Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in project management.
Integrate innovative approaches and technologies to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.


Training and Development:

Provide training and guidance to team members on project management processes and best practices.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the project team.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 57 years of experience in project management, preferably with government contracts.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
