    Description

    Our client, a worldwide media & entertainment brand is searching for a Senior Platform Engineer to add to their team
    Responsibilities:

    • Vendor Based Software support experience
    • Engage as technical point of contact with vendors, peers, and infrastructure operations partners.
    • A basic understanding of security best practices and experience implementing them - engaging the vendor as needed
    • Provide support for multiple levels of testing prior to upgrades or releases of new infrastructure, software, and service layer components.
    • Perform daily activities to ensure availability and stability
    • Participate in evaluating, developing, and implementing tools and automation to facilitate platform maintenance and administration to ensure operational efficiency, and reliability.
    • Potential 24/7 on call support per the established policies and procedures including the Incident, Problem and Change Management Processes
    • Participate in planning and executing projects for business unit initiatives and updating existing infrastructure, roadmaps, products and/or services.
    • Proactively ensure compliance with Security standards
    • Create and maintain required system documentation
    Required Skills:
    • Engage as Primary SME for multiple applications managed by the Shipboard Fulfillment Team

    • Identify root causes of system issues and resolve independently

    • Active Directory - Basic understanding
    • Android / IOS - Basic Understanding
    • Cloud-hosted services like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
    • IT Service management tools (ServiceNow)
