Job Summary:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Delivery Drivers, Driver Leads, Driver Supervisors

Duties/Responsibilities:

Last Mile Strategy:

Develop and implement last mile delivery strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Analyze market trends and technological advancements to stay ahead in last mile logistics.

Network Optimization:

Collaborate with transportation providers, carriers, and thirdparty logistics partners to establish and maintain a reliable last mile delivery network.
Optimize route planning, considering factors such as traffic, delivery windows, and fuel efficiency.

Technology Integration:

Leverage logistics technology, such as route optimization software and tracking systems, to enhance realtime visibility and control over the last mile operations.

Performance Monitoring:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate last mile delivery performance.
Regularly analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including procurement, warehouse, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination between different stages of the supply chain.
Build strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and vendors to optimize collaboration and address any challenges.

Quality Assurance:

Implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and damagefree deliveries.
Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to the last mile delivery process.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on relevant regulations and compliance standards related to transportation and last mile delivery.
Ensure all operations adhere to legal requirements and industry standards.

Cost Management:

Develop and manage budgets for last mile delivery operations.
Identify costsaving opportunities while maintaining service quality.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role within the aftermarket auto parts industry preferable.
Strong knowledge of logistics management principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in telematics systems, analytics tools, and logistics management software.
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and support.
Detailoriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures is highly desirable.
