The Inventory Management Lead is responsible for leading the inventory management team, providing strategic analysis, and developing strategies to prevent and reduce inventory.

This role involves maintaining optimal levels of inventory in the right mix, quantity, location, and time, and communicating these strategies to stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management (SCM) or a related field.

Previous management experience.


A minimum of 8 years of experience in complex supply chain planning organizations (experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and influence other stakeholders to achieve results.

Experience in inventory control and management.

Proficiency in relevant software and tools (experience in JDA/BY planning systems in the semiconductor industry is a plus).

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:
Manage the IO tools including requirements, changes, and outcomes. Perform inventory analysis to identify optimization opportunities based on historic POS data, forecast, yield/supply/capacity metrics, and root cause.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Manage the Inventory Council, which includes members from Supply Chain, BU, Finance, Sales, and the inventory planner role.

Inventory Analysis:
Analyze where inventory is generated and propose solutions for prevention or sale.

Selling of reserves and prevention of new.

Financial Record Keeping:
Ensure financial records are accurate.

Reports:
Report and project out on dollar and days of inventory throughout the quarter. Bucket into net, SiC, Strategic, and Base.

Accountability:
Hold input and execution stakeholders accountable.

Process Establishment:
Establish an inventory planning process with a cadence of activities and actively optimize inventory.

Target Setting:
Set targets for BU and monitor key Inventory KPIs and drivers for inventory reduction.
