Demand Planner - Brooklyn, United States - Gotham Greens

The Role
As this role is highly collaborative across both commercial and supply chain functions, will work closely in tight communications with the following teams, via ad-hoc and weekly/ monthly project and status reviews:
- Marketing
- Finance
- Operations and S&OP crossfunctional teams
- Sales
What You'll Do
- Develop SKU level/ key account forecasts as part of weekly & monthly planning cycle and ensure demand reasonability across portfolio (region and product mix).
- Work closely with production, sales, marketing, product, finance, and business support teams to collect and analyze intelligence, statistical data, monthly forecasts, and customer feedback
- Manage building blocks and understanding of key growth drivers and analyzing performance vs. plan, last cycle, and prior year.
- Review performance metrics, schedules, and inventory volumes to incorporate structural decisions in supply planning and sales allocations
- Managing identifying and reporting crop & finished goods longs to reduce impact of food waste within the supply chain as a part of the demand management reviews.
- Track and monitor key customer launches and/or promo POs and shipments to ensure fill rate and delivery dates are met.
- Assist Sales and SIOP leads to build and prepare for monthly planning cycle meetings
- Integrate technology to aggregate level data and create a productive network of inputs between various stakeholders to derive detailed planning
- Partner with Sourcing and Procurement on outbound component needs based on sales requirements
- Assist daily allocation of supply as needed
Who You Are
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience in demand planning.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills and attention to details.
- Strong problem solver who identifies improvement opportunities and implements sustainable solutions
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and handle multiple responsibilities in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed.
- Experience with SQL, Power Pivot and Power Query a plus
- Experience working with a nationwide retailer's a plus
