    Description

    Test Engineer II

    Job Description: Join our team as a Test Engineer II responsible for ensuring the development and testing of cutting-edge mechanical and fluid systems. This position starts as a contract role but offers the potential for a full-time position based on your performance and our business requirements.

    Location: Kent, WA (Onsite)

    Salary: $55 per hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and carry out test campaigns for mechanical, hydraulic, cryogenic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Create and update detailed test procedures, conduct readiness reviews, and lead pre-test briefings.
    • Work closely with design and operations teams to seamlessly integrate tests into current systems.
    • Source and acquire necessary test fixtures, support equipment, and data acquisition systems.
    • Enhance test efficiency while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
    • At least 3 years of experience in component testing and data analysis.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple project schedules simultaneously.
    • Outstanding communication skills across all organizational levels.
    • Strong dedication to safety, quality, and teamwork.
    • Must be a U.S. Person.

    Desired Skills:

    • Background in aerospace, satellites, aircraft, motorsports, or oil & gas industries.
    • Proficiency with pressurized systems (up to 6000psi), including cryogenic and hydraulic components.
    • Experience in sensor technology, instrumentation, data acquisition, and automation systems.
    • Familiarity with environmental testing standards like MIL-STDs and SMC-S-016.
    • Knowledge of precision cleaning processes for hardware and systems.
