Overview:

***:The Digital Merchandiser will assist in the delivery and execution of the online digital merchandising strategy. This role will also assist in effectively merchandising the site to create an experience that is easy to shop and is relevant. They will also partner with the team on the planning, execution, and analysis of various site exposures and ensure that they align with the overall company priorities and goals. This position will utilize competitive insights, web metrics and KPIs to make data-driven recommendations for site exposure optimization to improve the overall user experience while meeting sales, margin, and conversion goals. This position will partner with many cross-functional partners including merchandising, creative design and development teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The position will report to the Sr. Manager Digital Merchandising.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Coordinate the execution of site exposure strategies from ideation to implementation.
  • Partner with crossfunctional partners on the continued improvement of best practices.
  • Partner with Sr. Digital Merchandisers and Digital Merchandising Specialist on the execution of various daytoday merchandising responsibilities.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager Digital Merchandising with regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders, to track the impact of company priorities on key performance metrics and provide datadriven recommendations.
  • Assist in enhancing the customer experience through merchandise strategies and utilize merchandising tools to optimize site experience.
  • Assists with business validation testing on new capabilities and enhancements.
  • Partner with the UX/UI teams to experiment with different layouts, visuals, and contents to see what resonates best with the guest through A/B testing. Coach and develop team through any conflict resolutions, acting as a mentor and leader.
  • Competitive Insights

Continuously look at trends in site experience and site merchandising for outside inspiration, as well as across the beauty industry to benchmark against competitors and identify key opportunities and gaps.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years of ecommerce merchandising or other relevant experience.
  • Leadership skills and strategic vision to grow and manage a separate channel in support of merchant initiatives.
  • Effective crossfunctional collaboration skills.
  • Outstanding communication, organization, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven success in an ecommerce role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as making independent judgment calls.
  • Selfmotivated and detailoriented, with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced, environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize projects and multitask to get things done.
  • Proactive and eager to constantly seek out opportunities to make an impact.
