ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This role is responsible for delivering superior guest service while ensuring a safe and secure environment in the parking lot and adjacent areas. Duties include observation and control of unauthorized persons entering the property. Serves as guide to direct traffic and assign parking for visitors, guests, media, and others.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Customer Service: Greet and welcome guests and visitors to the Food Bank, ensuring a high-quality experience. Direct visitors to designated or alternate parking areas and guide visitors to appropriate registration area (Volunteer, Agency, Logistics/Transportation, etc.). Assist with observation and control of visitors, guests, and media as needed. Communicate effectively and proactively with all visitors.
Safety and Site Management: Patrol facility grounds to insure the safety of all Food Bank visitors. Ensure agency visitors park in designated areas only and stay with their vehicles as instructed. Coordinates reservation of parking spaces with Operations and Administrative teams. Ensures a clean and orderly parking area at all times. Requests custodial assistance when needed. Directs drivers in tractor-trailers and other delivery trucks to parking in the dock area.
