Registered Nurse Position (Full-time)

This is a nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties within the practice.

The RN will help physicians provide patient care during AWP visits and provide other possible injection therapies, as well as a variety of other clinical duties as assigned.

This position will also help manage clinical supply inventories and cleaning of exam rooms.


Clinical Duties:

• Perform EKG
• Perform ABI
• Perform Pulse Oximetry
• Perform vision testing
• Perform hearing testing
• Perform phlebotomy
• Perform inbody testing
• Perform gait speed testing
• Perform grip strength testing
• Perform spirometry
• Check patient blood pressure, perform testing as needed (Flu, Covid, Strep, etc.)
• Review medication list with patient and update chart
• Complete checklist for AWP Part 1 (complete all required information well in advance of patient visit)
• Collect patient questionnaire for AWP visits
• Input information into medical record, Athena
• Call patients to confirm AWP Part 1 appointments the day before the appointment
• Obtain copy of required diagnostic testing results to update charts for physicians
• Assist providers with any office procedures

Administrative Duties:

• Clean exam rooms
• Stock exam rooms and manage supplies
• Manage patient gown inventory
• Label, prepare and package lab samples for delivery to CHL, Quest and LabCorp
• Help patients with any unique lab orders (Galleri, etc.)
• Obtain training for Patient Service Coordinator duties and fillin when necessary
• Manage AWP schedules during MA callouts
• Reschedule or move appointments to provide coverage, as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
