Duties & Responsibilities
- Process vendor payments to ensure the company meets contractual payment deadlines
- Process and reconcile payments to brokers and other partner companies
- Complete bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Notify Account Managers of underpayments and owed premiums from clients
- Draw all disbursements for vendors, customers, companies, and other entities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and assist in the monthend close process
- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and post daily deposits
Qualifications & Skills
- You have an associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- You preferably have 12 years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience
- You are highly organized, analytical, and have a keen attention to detail
- You are knowledgeable about accounting procedures and GAAP regulations
- You are skilled in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
- You handle sensitive and confidential financial information with integrity and discretion
Pay:
$50, $55,000.00 per year
