The National IT Situation Center makes a significant contribution to the protection of Germany in the cyber space. As an officer on duty, you will support the head of the Information Duty Service of the National IT Situation Center in administrative tasks and be the daily constant in the Information Duty Service.

Main tasks of the department:

The National IT Situation Center monitors and evaluates cyber security incidents in 24/7 operation, providing a reliable picture of the current IT security situation in Germany at all times. With this overview, the federal cyber security agency can identify threatening situations such as waves of attacks or potentially exploitable vulnerabilities early on and quickly and competently assess the need for action
