This team is at the heart of our business management operations for specific investment funds and platforms.

Your role will be crucial in shaping and executing growth strategies, leveraging your deep understanding of the fund's operational and financial dynamics.

You will play a pivotal role in analyzing and enhancing fund performance through a firm grasp on financials and earning potential of both the fund and its advisors.

As FS Investments continues to grow, so does our Fund COO team. You will be instrumental in this expansion, supporting the evolution of our firm and its investment offerings.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis and recommendation of fund distribution rates and earnings projections.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of fund structures, performance drivers, and compliance considerations.
• Create detailed financial models and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct indepth analyses to underpin the business and spearhead major projects.
• Forge strong partnerships with the Investment Management team to enhance performance.
• Present detailed financial results to the CEO, CIO, and Board of Directors.
• Define and implement strategic visions in collaboration with senior management.
• Work closely with various departments to align infrastructure and support services.
• Engage with shared services teams and internal partners to optimize outcomes.
• Address daily challenges with effective problemsolving and drive strategic solutions.
• Mentor and develop the capabilities of junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience with REITs or BDCs is highly desirable, and advanced expertise with financial modeling, Excel and PowerPoint.
• 7+ years experience in investment banking, asset management, strategy, FP&A, and financial accounting.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a proficiency in presenting data in an accessible manner.
• A degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or progression towards CFA certification is advantageous.
